Night fell, the moon rose, the stars shone the lake calmed till it looked like glass. She walked silently and quickly, careful to stay in the shadows. She knew she probably shouldn’t be out of the castle this late but she didn’t care, her head was pounding and she needed quiet! Even this far from the school she could still catch bits of peoples thoughts, but at least they weren’t screaming at her. The teen sat down on the wet grass next to the lake and hugged her knees to her. She rested her chin on her leg and looked out at the lake. The moon and stars shone off it, bright spots on white on the black water.
Suddenly having an idea she slid forward and dipped her hand in the water, she shivered, it was freezing. That was to be expected in the fall, and at night. She bit her lip wondering if she should. Why not? She asked herself. She got to her feet pulled her high tops, socks and hoodie off. She shivered as the cold night air hit her bare arms. She placed a foot in the water and shivered again, it was really cold. But she couldn’t turn back now. She placed her other foot in ad stood there for a few seconds before walking towards the deeper water. As she got deeper and deeper she began to feel numb. Then when she was up to her chest she dove under.
It was like being stabbed over and over with small sewing needles over and over. Goosebumps rose on her arm. She pulled her head above the surface and laughed hysterically. Diving under again she reveled as the feeling tingled over her arm. The goth girl stood up again, her black hair plastered to her scalp, her white shirt clinging to her body like a second layer of skin. She wiped her cheek and a black streak appeared on her hand, her eye liner. She let out another hysterical laugh and dove under the water once more.[/blockquote]

"Would you shut up?" The boy's voice was bored. He blended into the shadows and it looked as if he'd been meditating. He wore all black, only his skin and eyes breaking through the shadows. He glared at Raven like she'd interupted him, which she had. The Chamerance demon summoner-Rama.

Izzy opened the curtain of her brick window. Cool air swirled in. She put one pale hand on the window seel, and hoisted her body over. Falling torwards the ground, Izzy sucked in a breathe, and blew it out. Warmth washed over her, and her green eyes glowed. She perpelled a spring breeze under her, keeping herself a good ways above the ground. The Spring Goddess closed her eyes. Riding wind has to be the best feeling in the word.

The goth girl had heard Rama coming but he still scared her, she hadn't realized he was so close. She got to her feet and walked out of the lake, dripping water. She wrung her hair out and wiped the rest of her eye liner off her cheeks, leaving her green eyes plain and actually human looking, "You know I'd say sorry for bothering you, but that'd be a lie." She said pulling crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at the demon summoner. [/blockquote]

Go away mind-reader, I was meditating. Rama thought, annoyed. He knew she'd hear him. "Rama, you're being soft on her. She interupted you." An unseen person talked. This one's mind was un-readable, a mass of darkness.

The mind reader just raised her eyebrows at Rama, "One of your demon 'friends?' She asked casually, like it was the most normal thing in the world to talk about. "You want to hurt me? Go ahead, make my day." [/blockquote]

Wren leaped off the windowsill of her dormitory window, and she gracefully flew up to the sky, until she began to feel lightheaded. She hovered for a few seconds, high above the treetops, before plunging down towards the ground. Just as she was about to hit the ground, she flipped over and landed neatly on the balls of her feet. She floated over to the water, farthest away from the crowd that was gathering. She closed her eyes, and pictured a black raven soaring over the lake, and she felt the piercing sensation in her shoulder blades, and she flapped her feathery black wings before flying back over to the castle, as a raven. She tapped on a lit window with her beak. Lil! It came out as a hoarse croak, the call of a raven.

Do you happen to be insulting my friends? Rama asked through his mind. The voice from before sighed.

The mind reader rolled her eyes, "Actually I'm marveling at the fact that anyone would want to be around you. I thought demons would be above that." She crossed her arms "But then, considering I'm not getting any thoughts from her friends it doesn't surprise me."

"You are aware that I can still hear your thoughts right?" She asked, determiined to do the exact opposite of what he wanted her to. "Meditating does't mean you're not thinking. It just means your thoughts are really boring, not that that's much of a difference when it comes to your mind." She said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She was in a bad mood and she was going to take it out on him if she wanted to, which she did. [/blockquote]

Rama just moved a little further away. Girls are so d*mn annoying! the thought was pulsating through his head. "I'd have to disagree," The invisible speaker sounded once more.

Izzy flew rite above the water on her wind, dipping the tips of her fingers in the cold water. A path of silver moonlight stretched infront of her. Her eyes followed it all the way to the shore, were two figures stood there. A girl with black hair, probaly raven, and... Rama! A shiver ran through her. Rama was a creep! As she neared the two students, she could tell something was up. Raven was glarring at Rama, who looked anoyed. "Hey, whats up?" she called, landing on the peppley shore.

"Gahh!" Rama exclaimed "There are too many girls out tonight! Can't a guy meditate in peace?"

Izzy smiled. "Nope." Rama rolled his eyes. "Whatever flower power. Unlike you two, I have important things to do."
"Like demon sumoning is SOOOO important." Izzy remarked, putting one hand on her hip. Rama frowned. Mabey he'll just leave. He can do his creepy demon worship in the forest.
