Sonja Plight and Jason Plight, both went by Janus in their last life.

Both are fifteen, though Jason is the elder by twelve hours. Because they were born exactly on the equinox in their last life, Jason was born in the summer while Sonja was born in the fall. Both are on the Libra-Virgo cusp.
House:
Capricorna, I think… Could be Linton, but I’m pretty sure Capricorna fits slightly better.

Distinguishing Features:
The only thing that really tells the twins apart is the fact that Jason’s hair is the tiniest bit longer and his clothing tends to be singed. Also, Sonja has a star shaped scar over his heart.

While the twins are nearly always together when they’re not in the dorms, Sonja generally stands on Jason’s right side. They often move in unison and have always grown the same way. They give off a private air, one that says ‘come into this relationship if you have a deathwish.’ Sonja tends to be the one who tries to make people happy and thus has a bit of a warmer air, but still, he complies with his brother’s ‘no friends in our bubble’ rule.
Both twins part their hair to the right and have very similar dress style, so it’s incredibly hard to tell the difference even when Sonja’s standing on the right. Sonja is generally lugging around a ton of books, but this isn’t something to go by either because Jason often helps out.
The only real way to tell the difference between the twins is by facial expression, because they have vastly different personalities. While Sonja is collected, Jason goes insane, while Sonja smiles, Jason grins. The more passionate face tends to belong to Jason.

Overall History:
Sonja and Jason were born as the twins both named Janus Diederich. The elder, Jason, was born very shortly before the autumnal equinox and Sonja shortly after. The twins were born to a middleclass family, not rich and not poor. They were born in the late 1800’s in Prussia.
All of their lives, Sonja was weak. He was born with a bad heart murmur and only by some extreme luck did he survive. Sonja always wanted to be a doctor after that. However, because of his heart condition, he could never do anything with himself as he always collapsed whenever he tried.
Jason entered the music scene early in life; he started composing at nine years of age. Still, Jason wasn’t doing what he wanted to be doing. Jason had always wanted to be a scientist, but never had the chance because people started demanding his musical works.
Jason and Sonja were raised normally, except for the genius Jason showed and the money he started bringing in for their parents. When they were ten, they were relocated to the US and Jason was sent to the mines.
Even with his spirit beaten down, Jason retained the practice of composition and the dream of chemistry parallel to Sonja’s dream of becoming a doctor. Jason died in a mine collapse, on his fifteenth birthday. The last day of summer.
Sonja went into a coma the next day. When he emerged, two months later, he stabbed himself in the heart that had always held him back. He just couldn’t stand the loneliness he’d experienced without his brother.
They reached the Academy easily, and found each other there to much their joy and celebration. When Sonja was reborn he lost his heart condition, but he went blind.
Sonja was blind for a very long time before his brother figured out how to make their power work so he could fix his brother.
After that, their lives became very uneventful as they grew up in the academy. Both began intensive study of their respective sciences, but only Sonja stuck with it all the way to become the school's youngest college-graduate level doctor. Jason actually reverted to composition again, but also began lyricism to keep up with the times.

Personality:

Sonja is generally calm and reserved. He does not make bonds easily, especially if his brother does not trust the person he wishes to make a bond with. He doesn't quite understand the concept of friendship because of this but is still very observant and can 'read' people. Sonja will not speak unless he is given a silence he feels he needs to fill, and prefers to step out of conversations just to watch. Sonja is the one who holds himself back, the one who refuses to cry, and refuses to laugh. The most emotion he'll allow himself to show is the slightest twitching smile. Sonja is a man of few words and few faces, but somehow manages to bring many many people happiness. He doesn't like people interfering in his work, but other than that, he is very open with people. Sonja is the kind of person who is unintentionally popular, and who unintentionally brings a bit more light to the world.
Jason is the wild card, the 'evil twin' if you prefer. He's unpredictable and constantly shifting, he intentionally pits people against one another for his amusement. He is always fighting for something more; he’ll tell you how much he loves you and in the same breath that you must be eliminated because you are in his way for world domination. He forgets birthdays, and names, and anniversaries, and refuses to show his soft side. He moves from love to hate in moments, and then back again. Jason refuses to stay in one spot, or be undistracted by others. It takes an extremely devoted person to tie him down, and make him stay. Jason is so unlucky it's a power by itself. There have only been very few things that don't literally blow up in his face. Whatever he touches is in danger of collapse and he can only stay upright for so long before something darts out into his path. Black cats especially seem to like him. He's had his homework eaten, blown up, burnt, buried, shredded for rat litter, dragged through water, and more(let your imagination do the work.) Jason's been through bad times and through good but tends to be the twin who people hate because he absorbed more of the bad.
